Veena Malik was born 26 February 1978 is a Pakistani actress, model and comedian. She has established herself as one of the leading women of Pakistani television and film industry with her ability to imitate others and improvise.

Her grandmother called her Zahid, but her family insisted on keeping the Veena by his first name. Her father was often away from home so she was raised by her grandmother and mother until she was in his late teens when her grandmother died.




She made her debut with Shaan and Zara Sheikh in Askari's Tere Pyar Mein 2000, which did well in the box office. She played a supporting role in the film and was hardly recognized.

She was diagnosed with a fairly mild form of severe tachycardia. In an interview she described her unease in the time of her illness.

She was indicted in 2004 for involvement in the indecent acts with one of his teammates. After the filming of a cross border venture with Bollywood named Pind Di Kuri, actress Sheeba Butt added: "That's what her real character".
