Naina Lal Kidwai is an Indian business woman. She is currently Group General Manager and Country Head of HSBC Group India. Kidwai has an undergraduate degree in Economics from Delhi University and an MBA from Harvard Business School graduating in 1982 she was the first Indian woman to graduate from Harvard Business School .
She worked in Morgan Stanley as Deputy Chairman JM Morgan Stanley and Head of Investment Bank of India. At HSBC, she has held positions as Managing Director and Executive Vice President of HSBC Bank in India and the Managing Director and CEO of HSBC Securities and Capital Markets India Private Limited.
Kidwai has repeatedly ranked in Fortune's global list of Top Women in Business 12 in the Wall Street Journal's 2006 Global List of Women's Watch ad listed by Time Magazine as one of the 15 Global influential the 2002nd In 2007 she received the Padma Shri for her work with to promote trade and industry.
