Jennifer Lopez is doing her part to help others by teaming up with Amnesty International to launch a new website aimed at educating people and raising awareness of Mexican femicide. Lopez learned of the tragedy while researching her new movie Bordertown and reportedly jumped at the chance to get involved in the project. 350 young women, more than 100 of them raped, have been killed in Ciudad Juarez and Chihuahua since 1993, and Amnesty International hopes to raise the profile of the murders since learning that Mexican federal agents have closed their case on the investigation.
