Michael Jackson fans are shelling out the big bucks for a chance at 30 seconds of face time with the King of Pop. Jackson arrived in Japan yesterday to host an exclusive party and art show in what will be his first official appearance following the MTV Japan awards last year. Party guests paid close to $3,500 to attend a VIP meet-and-greet party to take place this Thursday, although it is unclear whether Jackson has plans to perform. For fans unable to afford tickets to the event, Jackson is hosting an art competition and will select three winning contestants who will win brunch and a photo op with him on Friday.
