Sylvia Plath was born 27 October 1932. Sylvia Plath 11 February 1963 was an American poet, novelist and short story writer. Born in Massachusetts, she studied at Smith College and Newnham College, Cambridge before getting recognition as a professional poet and writer. She married the poet Ted Hughes in 1956 and they lived together first in the United States and England, who has two children.
Plath's mother, Aurelia, had grown up in Winthrop, and her grandmother and grandfather, they Schober, had lived in a part of town called Point Shirley, a location that is mentioned in Plath's poetry. While he lived in Winthrop, published eight years Plath's first poem in the Boston Herald the kids section. Besides writing, showed her early promise as an artist, and won an award for his paintings from The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards in 1947.
Plath was portrayed by Gwyneth Paltrow in the 2003 movie Sylvia and the BBC film Ted and Sylvia (2003). Frieda Hughes, now a poet and painter who was two years old when her mother died, was angry about the shooting of entertainment with their parents' lives. She accused the "peanut crunching" crowd wants to be titillated by the family tragedies.
