Mary Lucy Denise Pudlowski was born 6 April 1952. She is an American actress, producer and author. Henner was erected on the northwest side of Chicago in the Logan Square area. Her mother, Loretta, was leader of the National Association of Dance and Affiliated Arts and drove Henner Dance School for 20 years. Henner took her first dance class at age two.
Henner came to national prominence with his role as Elaine Nardo in the situation comedy Taxi. She was the leading lady in the 1984 film Johnny Dangerously, playing the love interest for Michael Keaton.
Henner has written eight books on diet and health, most notably the total health expenditure Makeover, in which she explains the benefits of a non dairy diet in relation to food combining and exercise.
She has hyperthymesia, also called superior autobiographical memory, the sixth such identified topic. She can remember specific details about each day in his life starts at a young age.
