Jamaal Charles RaShaad born 27 December 1986 in Port Arthur, Texas is anAmerican football running back to the Kansas City Chiefs National Football League. Charles' first year as Chief was barely in the spotlight as a backup for Half Back Larry Johnson, Charles rushed just 67 times for 357 yards.
Charles followed up his outstanding junior season by rushing for 2,056 meters and 25 touchdowns his senior year. Charles was also named to 2005 Parade All-American Football Team, and was District 22-5A Player of the Year both his junior and senior years.
Charles was expected to begin his career as a Chiefs' Number Three back behind Larry Johnson and Kolby Smith. In Charles's first professional football game, he ran for 28 meters on 5 bear against the New England Patriots.
